What We Do

  • Sharing teas rooted in land and people
We select whole-leaf teas from Yunnan, Taiwan, and China that reflect terroir, craftsmanship, and seasonal character returning to flavor in its truest form.

  • Upholding the rhythm and value of traditional brewing
We promote the traditional multi-step teapot method, where each steep reveals a new layer like watching a film unfold.

  • Cultivating a tea-centered lifestyle and aesthetics
Beyond tea, we curate teaware, incense, books, and host exhibitions and courses that connect tea with calligraphy, ceramics, lacquerware, stones, bonsai, and more.
  • Reinterpreting and sharing culture through practice

Tea culture isn’t meant to be preserved behind glass. It must live through experience, dialogue, and daily practice.

Our values

The Mission of Nikko Hill

At Nikko Hill, we believe that tea is more than a beverage it is a proposal for a way of living. We begin with tea as a starting point for a life that is more connected to the body, the land, and culture. In a world that prioritizes speed and convenience, we choose slowness, depth, and sensitivity.
Only through waiting and attention can we fully experience the depth of a single cup,
and rediscover the care and beauty often overlooked in everyday life. We care not only about flavor, but about the full sensory and spiritual experience that tea can offer:
the pace of brewing, the texture of tools, the atmosphere of the room, the touch of the hand, the awareness of the body and the conversations in between.

What We Believe

  • A cup of tea can be a gateway into awareness, care, and presence.

  • The beauty of tools connects the hand and the eye, grounding us in mindful stillness.

  • Culture endures not through preservation, but through circulation and living dialogue.

The Vision of Nikko Hill

We envision a future where tea is no longer just a product to be consumed, but a way for people to reconnect with themselves, with their surroundings, and with the rhythm of life.

In our view, tea is not only a beverage, but a vessel for restoration, a quiet language of perception, and a living culture that flows into everyday rituals.

We believe that tea can extend far beyond the cup.

It can find its place in study rooms and forests, in galleries and ateliers, through calligraphy, ceramics, incense, and stone opening up new shared spaces of what we call a contemporary tea life.

Our vision is to create an open, evolving cultural system that transcends language, borders, and disciplines where a single cup of tea can nourish the body, cultivate awareness, transmit beauty, and carry forward tradition.

We aspire to:

  • Build a cross-cultural, intergenerational platform for tea and cultural dialogue.
  • Bring East Asian tea traditions into the lives, bodies, and artistic expressions of the contemporary world.
  • Use tea and everyday aesthetics to foster deep, embodied health and sensory education.
